Huong Tran
Web/Database Developer
Huong joined Sligo in January 2001 soon after she had relocated to the US from Ottawa, Canada.
She received a B.S. Degree from Catholic University of America, in D.C. and worked in the biology and nursing fields before the transition to the computer field in the mid 1990's. Huong is an invaluable member of Sligo's programming team.
She has been our web/database developer using C#, HTML, XML, JAVA, Visual Basic, classic ASP, ASP.Net, SQL Server 2000/ 2005 and Visual Studio 2003/2005, Graphicserver, ChartFX.
She worked as the primary Interdisciplinary Engineer for Maryland Department of Education .Net conversion project and is working as the senior programmer on several other projects.
Huong is also an expert with and a Certified Oracle Professional; and she continues to extend her skills with A+ Networking and PHP language.
